Back in 1961 a night watchman in Big Rapids, Michigan snapped this photograph of a supposed Dogman at 3:00 am in the morning. The picture has never been explained and it looks very interesting. The only thing about the picture that makes me wonder is a board of some sort under the feet. If you look carefully you and see the board on top of the grass. Is this a manikin or stage prop or the real deal?
Thanks for posting this Scott! I happen to know a little of the back ground to this spooky picture, although now that you've pointed out this board,it makes a determination a little more sketchy, perhaps,on authenticy. The indivadail that took this photo, and his son, over the years, have attempted to have this photo, camera and the negatives examined, and featured in different magazines. As far as I remember,no one would touch it. Too "bizarre",perhaps. It's also intriguing to note, that none of the same magizenes, publishers, etc, would not try to "debunk" the photo,as well. And,it's really neat, that the night watchmen, that took the photo, took it with the camera that he purchased at his fathers(I'm not 100% on the details, but close, lol!)camera and photography shop, witch at the time was the first in the state of Ohio.
The thing that I noticed is, look at the two light poles in the background, notice that the bulb itself is on a long arm away from the pole, but the one the creature is behind dosn't have the arm, the light is right next to the pole, also the lighting on the creature seems fairly even, where is the shadow from the pole?
Hey, sorry to burst your bubble on this one, but it's a definite fake. It's a photoshop, someone inserted this picture: http://www.sideshowcollectors.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=142946&d=1414653545

that's most likely the shadow of the pole, it looks weird because the terrain is uneven. I don't know if the creature is fake or not but I'm 99% confident that's the pole shadow
