Cynocephalus - The Dog-Headed Men

Most people have heard of werewolves, but few know of the ancient race of dog-headed men, better known as the Cynocephali. A Cynocephalus was essentially a man with the head of a dog. They could understand language but had no ability to speak. Though they are sometimes depicted in artwork as being civilized, they were by all reports savage beasts who lived to hunt and to kill.
While this may sound like just another mythical creature, there are very good reasons to believe that the Cynocephali may have actually existed. Above all of them, these dog-headed men were described in reports by famous explorers such as Christopher Columbus and Marco Polo!

  1. Thanks for sharing this very interesting article Scott!
Most folks are simply not aware of the bizarre, yet recurring theme of these mysterious creatures. One cannot help, upon learning of this, but to speculate the possible origins of such creatures. Random mutation? Adapting bipedalism in some instances? Or,(IMHO,even weirder, but,as we do not know for certain, anything about these beings,it may be wise to not rule out anything)as a few centuries old text, including the Bible, created by intelligent(fallen angels/Nephilim?) design!? Many things to consider, and speculation could indeed go on,,indefinitely.
The times are changing, fortunately, today, with a new generation that's seeing, witnessing, and encountering these beasts. And,as tv series(some of them, admittedly embarrassing, lol) come back around to featuring "backyard monster" types, older folks are starting to come forward, thanks to some of these shows being,IMO,well produced, and professional, and opening up new avenues for people to talk about thier experiences, without so much of the dreaded ridicule, and local gossip that's plagued cryptid subjects for so long.
However,we all know of one group of individuals, that is absolutely NOT ready to discuss the dogman enigma,,let alone view casts of prints, and the few outstanding pictures and videos that are available(witch yours has to speak for 99% of that video portion,I would guess, lol, and,as incredible as it is to me,still blows my mind every time I see any if the dogman footage!),,and those folks are collectively known as "mr mainstream science",and their well know, and eqaully disliked toadies and flunkys. Just based on thier shameful, and utterly unprofessional behavior, and acts of,in what I would term BLATENTLY LYING about a DNA Study, and the results,it may be too much.
Could anyone imagine,a through, comprehensive, and rigorously documented DNA paper, announcing an unknown species,of a bipedal canid, hitting the press?! Yikes! The scientific, and academic crowd may start a riot! LOL!

  2. On a related note,I forgot to mention, but I have no doubt you seen this, and understood the signifigance Scott,is when the old accounts of these fierce warriors, stated they traded with the few humans they did trust, they could not speak, but barked,OR made signs with thier "hands",and "fingers".
According to many documents close sightings/encounters,,we may have something intriguing to consider, indeed!!

  3. It's hard to believe such creatures exist.....but apparently they did, probably still do exist now. I guess it explains the jackal headed gods in the Ancient Egypt, and now I'm even wondering about the story "Beauty and the Beast".
